Elizabeth White Olsen is a landscape designer, writer, and artist. In 2020 she co-founded GO Native Landscaping, LLC with her husband, bird guide Glenn Olsen. Through GO Native’s on-site consultations, custom landscape designs, presentations, and classes, she and Glenn have supported hundreds of homeowners, business owners, and municipal and nonprofit employees choose sustainable, bird-and-butterfly-friendly landscapes. She’s achieved Native Plant Society of Texas Landscape Certification Levels 1 and 3, and in 2021 White Olsen was trained and certified as a Texas Master Naturalist. She holds two Master’s of Fine Arts in Writing degrees and in 2014 founded Writespace literary arts center in Houston. The author of the poetry collection, Given Words, her first nonfiction book, Bringing Butterflies Home: Gardening to Heal Our Yards and Ourselves, launches in March 2026.
